Question About Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Waits

Popular rides at each park have long waits, I am not sure that over an hour wait is that bad for one fo the best rides at WDW. Until a third track was added to TSM it regularly had a longer wait than RnR. I suppose it is possible that increasing capacity a TSM may have increased wait times at RNR (Less time in TSM queue, means more time to join another queue.) If you aren't willing to wait an hour, you can always get a Fastpass. Same day fastpass+ are routinely available for RNR.

As an aside, the single rider line is fairly useless on this ride. I tried it last year and had to bail out as it was taking just as long as standby.

The single rider lane can be hit or miss. There are times it has been a lot quicker than the standby line, and other times when it has taken about the same amount of time.

If you go on as a single rider you get to ride much quicker.

Unless you're the couple I encountered last year, who got through the single rider queue into the pre show and then climbed the barrier into the standby queue to ride...

Apparently that's the quickest way to get on RNR

We always ride Single Rider if we don't have a FP. It's one of the best Coasters on property in a park with very few attractions right now.

Early morning is a good time. I rode two times before 9:30 recently. And found a FP for two in the afternoon.
