Question about RnR

Is it dark? My dd liked EE, except for the part that is pitch black. Now she won't ride it again. We are going again next year and will be tall enough for RnR.

It is dark. It is themed to the Interstate through LA it has 3 corkscrew loop-d-loops, but you go through them so quickly you don't even realize it (at least I didn't) - My DD11 and I absolutely loved the ride and can't wait to go on it over and over again. Just a word of warning-

I rode this with my dtr. (7yr.at that time) and she is thin. The ride was VERY scary for her as she said she lifted up in her harness a lot during the loops. Yes, she did easily meet the height req. for the ride. I was very scared for her too as we were riding. Of course, there is nothing you can do to fight gravity- just hold on like heck!!

Dtr. says no way will she ride it again. BTW- she rode all other coasters at DW and enjoyed them.

I wouldn't recommend rnr for a child scared of the dark. It is VERY dark in there. I would wait for another trip to attempt it.

I love rollercoasters, and I love RNR, but, this is the ONLY rollercoaster that makes me nervous! And, I've been on ALOT of rollercoasters! I think it is the extreme speed that it starts out at, then the darkness of it all. I really hate the beginning, where it feels like you are being shot out of a cannon!

My daredevil grandaughter rode it when she was 8 y/o and did not like it. This from a kid who loves any rollercoaster. She screamed the entire time that she was falling out. She did not like the fact that it had an overhead restraint instead of a lap belt/bar and that her bottom was off the seat much of the time. The darkness didn't bother her though, just the feeling that she was falling out.
