Question about resort rehabs

We are planning on Old Key West for Dec., 2017. Reports are the resort will be doing a long term rehab. I don't mind that, as long as they aren't rehabbing right next to our room! Do you think they will be rehabbing rooms in buildings that are occupied? Thank you!

Potentially. Each refurb seems to be done a little differently, and as OKW is a DVC resort, there are issues taking an entire building out of service during DVC's busiest, highest-demand season.
