Question about resort ID

:goodvibes We will be staying at POFQ in March.

I read the following from allearsnet.com:
"When you pull up to the French Quarter (was Port Orleans) you will encounter a security kiosk at the resort entrance, where you will need to stop and tell the officer you are checking in......

Once you have checked in, your resort ID card will allow you to use the card-activated entrance adjacent to the kiosk, eliminating the need to speak to someone each time you enter the resort property."

Have the following questions:
1). If we are arriving via Magical Express, do we still have to stop at the security kiosk?
2). Do we need to show resort ID if we want to visit other resorts (e.g. restaurants)?
3). Should I request a resort ID for my DD2?

4). We will be on the Magic Your Way Plus Dining (Dining Plan + 6 Day park tickets, no hopper option). I understand that dining plan will be coded into my resort ID. How about Park tickets? Should I get the paper tickets upon check-in, or they are also coded into resort ID?

Thank you in advance!

No

If you want to park at another resort, they may ask for id, but since you are using ME I'm assuming you won't have a car, so no.

2 year olds are free so you won't need one

Your tickets will automatically be on your room key, as well as your dining credits.

Actually, since they are on the dining plan even the 2 year old will receive a KTTK. My 2 year old niece had her own ID when we were there in September on the dining plan.

Thanks for your reply.

Another question - if my theme park tickets are automatically stored on my room key, then how can I get FAST PASS? When I visited Disneyland in Japan, I need to use my park ticket to get FAST PASS.

The Fast Pass machines accept the resort id/room key!

Kids under three are free - and don't usually get room keys, even with the dining plan. Were you there when the DDP was free? Maybe it was to just to gather information for the dining plan.
