sorry guys, first timer in adult hood to disney!

so, two of our reservations are in the Magic Kingdom Resort area. Does this count towards your daily park admission? Meaning, do we have to enter into Magic Kingdom gate to get to these reservations, which is using a day pass?

we don't have a park hopper option on our tickets, but kicking myself for not getting it. Any one know if i can add this onto our tickets now? Travelling Jan 11th.

thanks!

No, if the restaurants are in MK area resorts you will not need park admission You will only need park admission if they are in the actual MK.

And yes, you can add hoppers to your tickets.

Where exactly are your reservations? If it's at one of the Resorts--Contemporary, Poly, Floridian--no, it's not a park admission. If it's at one of the restaurants IN Magic Kingdom, then yes, it is a park admission.

And you can add the park hopper now. But you can also add it when you're actually there. Best thing to do is wait and see if you're actually going to need it. The first day you really want to park hop, add it then. You may find once you're there one park a day is enough and then it would be waste of money if you had already added. That happened to us the first trip and I've never bought it since!

thanks guys! that's what i thought, but needed to make sure.

the two we have IN parks at Hollywood and Vine and Cinderella's Royal Table.
the other two are Chef Mickey's and 1900 Park Fare.

are we crazy to try to have Cinderella's at 10:10am and try for BOG lunch before 2pm?

we are there for 7 days, only bought 4 day admission tickets. I'm good with everything we have lined up, but would LOVE BOG (hoping for lunch fast pass) at some point, but it's not looking likely unless i want 2 days in MK or a park hopper.

Another option is making your 4-day ticket a 5-day. I think it's only like $10 difference or something like that per ticket. That would be a lot cheaper than adding a park hopper if you're just looking for an extra afternoon at MK. And that's, again, something you can do when you get there and decide. Don't need to do it ahead of time!

Yes, just $10 a ticket to go from 4 days to 5! I just did it and then I called back in later and went from 5 to 6! Each time it was $40 total per day for our family of 4, so for less than $100 we added 2 park days! I thought it was an awesome deal.
