Question about renting points

We are considering renting points for our trip next June. I was looking at the DVC Points Chart here on DIS and it gives a Sun - Thur number of points needed, a Fri and Sat, and a weekly.

We would be going June 1st through June 10th. So 10 days and 9 nights. Does the weekly rate start on the day you check in or is it a Sun - Sat rate? I am just trying to figure out exactly how many points we would need.

If you add up the points from Sun-Th and add to the points from Fri and Sat. you will see that it equals the weekly rate. Any 7 consecutive nights would include a Sun-Th and a Fri and Sat and thus equal the weekly rate. In your case, the total would be the weekly rate plus one additional day of points at the Sun-Th rate plus one additional day of points at the Fri. & Sat. rate. For example, Old Key West would be 98+10+24=132 total points.

Just wanted to add that you really need to make a decision fairly quick or you may not be able to get the accomodations you need. June is not that far away (by DVC standards) and since you are less than seven months out, no member will having a booking advantage at one resort over another.
