I might be renting points from someone in January. I was wondering if January was a busy month. One if the others that are going with me just got a new job, and I don't know if she can get off or not. I know the 7 month window is next month. My question is, can we wait and get a room later on in the year without being waitlisted or do I need to do it now?

We'll be renting a studio at BWV, AKV, or BCV.

Depends on the January dates and the booking category. Marathon weekend & MLK holiday weekends can be busy.

The longer you wait, the more likely your dates will not be available. Most owners will not want to waitlist for a renter. That said, you are wise to wait unitl the plans are firm.

Good luck!

Yes, it depends on the dates. Watch out for MLK and marathon, and obviously, close to New Year's Eve. Otherwise, this can be a great time, and you will usually see a lot of us Floridians there, who usually stay away in the summer! Good luck!

Your other problem might be the studio. That seems to be a very popular room size (although for the life of me I can't figure out why).

Because by far it's the best value....and most people don't want to spend twice the points to upgrade to a 1BR and still only be able to sleep the same as a studio. I understand that the 1BR is bigger and has some nicer amenities....but people can do two trips in the studio for the price of 1 trip in a 1BR.
