Question about renting DVC, park tickets, and dining plan...

Forgive me if this had been hashed over millions of times. I am new to the DVC boards and my searches had turned up nothing. We rented DVC points 2 years ago and are thinking about doing the same for our next trip. How can I figure out the estimated cost of this trip when adding on the dining plan and tickets?

To estimate the cost of our previous trip, I would simply go to Disney's site and plug in my dates and which hotel, etc... I know how to get the point value, and how much per point depending on which season. But how do I figure out the dining plan and ticket prices? Are they separate prices?
And does that mean that ticket prices are more expensive because it's not a MYW package?

Allow $38/night per adult and $11/night per child for the Dining Plan.

You do not have to buy tickets to get the Dining Plan added to a points stay. You may buy your tickets anywhere you choose.

The cost of the MYW tickets depends on your touring plans. It is not more expensive to buy them separately - in fact, it will likely be less expensive. There are several reputable brokers from which to buy tickets. You can get good advice re tickets & brokers on either the Theme Parks Board or the Budget Board. You may also want to check MouseSavers. Sign up for the MouseSavers newsletter if you don't already get it and then watch for the ticket specials it often contains.

The Dining Plan costs exactly the same as it does for MYW packages - $37.99 for adults, $10.99 for kids. I believe you pay this at check-in.

For tickets, just check the official WDW site and check ticket-only prices. You won't be able to get any of the MYW promotions, like the free hopper and water parks deal that is sometimes offered.
