Question about Record Card

So...has anyone done the Program... gotten a few points for things like forgetting to clock out, few minutes late, etc.. --no reprimands-- and then done the program again? One of my roommates was denied her extension (but she had two reprimands), but I was thinking about applying for another Program in a couple semesters... I've heard after 6 months, even though they still appear on your record card, they overlook minor points like that? I have like 2.5 or something.. They were for STUPID mistakes too..

my first program was spring 09... i had 12 points and 2 reprimands and they hired me again...

Awesome. I was one of 4 CP's at mini golf and the other three had 0 points and made me feel very self-conscious...

Even though they stay on your record card forever, they "fall off" and don't count after six months. So you're good!

Plus, I had four points when they extended me... and I ended up in a super legit location.

I had a few reprimands. Got denied 2 times, then hired, so I think you're good =)

I know at least a dozen people with amazing record cards (some downright perfect, several former campus reps, a few with points but no reprimands) and they all got turned down for extensions this semester Either it's becoming incredibly competitive or they overhired for the Spring. Don't go in expecting an extension unless you're willing to do QSFB or custodial.

^^ I had heard about people with good record cards getting turned down too...one of my roommates who did NOT have a great record card was extended from housekeeping and got put into merchandise.

If you extend..is there ever a chance that you'd stay in your same role/job? Or do you always get moved? If you talked to your manager would there be any chance of staying?

Either it's becoming incredibly competitive or they overhired for the Spring.

extensions are only used if they are running behind in certain areas. if they do well recruiting on campus, there are going to be less extension opportunities available.

this last time with so many people pended and so few extensions, i don't know why they even offered them. it just resulted in a lot of people who wanted to stay having to leave and people who wanted to come down not being able to do so. i think it would have been better to just not offer extensions at all (fair to everyone who was there) and offer up those positions to the pending people.

but of course, not having to train someone saves a few bucks.
