Has DVC changed how they can move around points among existing reservations? I have called twice to try and move around some banked, some borrowed and some current UY points so that they are used most efficiently. My UY is December, so I can still bank points. Both times, the CM has said that if they try to do it, they have to cancel the existing reservation (at VGC, so they could get scooped up) , reallocate points and rebook the reservation, which would risk losing the reservation. I could swear that they have moved points around between existing reservation for me (almost exclusively at VGC) in the past with no issue.
Also, in talking with sweet CM I worked with today, who dropped a day at VGC and quickly added another one (I'm *not* walking a reservation, just a day in September happened to open up so thought I'd shift more in September in case it opens September 1st), I found out she has been screamed at by the caller previous to me because she wouldn't let them book at non-home resort more than 7 months out! This was after they moved points from 2019 to 2020 for them! I apologized to her on behalf of DVC owners (after I teased her about surely she wrote that rule herself when she created DVC personally). What are people thinking?!?! The person on the phone did not make the rules that we agreed to when we bought DVC! And this circumstance doesn't make it OK to scream at CM's. Let's show them some love when we call!
