Hi everyone,

Today we were EXTREMELY lucky to book a RCI exchange into DVC for December 11-18. We're booked at SSR in a 3 bedroom.

My question is this: Could a 3 bedroom at SSR be a grand villa OR a treehouse villa? Or is a 3 bedroom treehouse villa a completely seperate booking category/resort?

All I was told by the RCI agent was that it was a 3 bedroom at SSR. I have no further details yet. So I'm curious what exactly that could mean.

I would suspect that it's a 3-Bedroom GV at SSR. The Treehouses are a seperate booking category and I don't believe that DVC has made any of those available to RCI.

Exactly what I wanted to know. Either a SSR grand villa or a Treehouse villa would be lovely, so it didn't really matter which it was. I was just curious. :goodvibes

We're just so excited about our December trip! Thank you. :thumbsup2

The Unit Occupancy info will give you a final answer: GV is 12; Treehouse is 9.

Exactly. I'd be surprised if it was a Treehouse, though. The declared inventory there books quickly, and Disney doesn't deposit developer-owned inventory for exchange.

I don't believe DVC has offered any THV or BLT to II for exchange as of yet, rental apparently, but not exchange.
