We have 8 nights reserved at the Polynesian in July. However, we need to change our vacation to August due to work issues.

Now that the Summer Saver discounts are over, the same 8 nights will cost us 800 more.

Does anyone know if they will be offering another summer special? Or if I switch dates, will they still give me the old rate?

Thanks for your help :-)!

Are you an annual passholder? I believe some of the AP discounts are available thru 9/30. If you are staying 8 nights it would be worth the extra ticket cost to check it out. Good Luck!

DH suggested a trip to Disney World exactly 2 days after the summer saver rates were over. If we go and that is a big IF I am considering purchasing an Annual pass. I doubt I will get my self down to DW again but it could happen.... There are no discounts right now that I have found and now that they need to interrogate you before you make a resservation I don't think that I am going to be getting a better rate than the AP. I am hoping that I am wrong, perhaps after Memorial Day has past they will have some type of discount. I think that the Fl travel and theme parks vacations are down quite a bit this year. If they have empty rooms in June we may get lucky. Good Luck to all those who are late planners like myself. May the Discount Fairies be with us.

Thank you both for your replies. I don't have an AP, but I will certainly check into it, and the rates I can get from using it.

DisneyDenise - Good luck to you finding a low rate too!

Thanks again :-)

Just in case you did not know you do not need to have the ap when you book your room. You only need it at check in. I have heard of new codes coming out the end of the month, but it won't hurt to make a ressie for an ap rate seeing how you have time to get in your deposit and you could see what rates come up the 31st!
I'm anxiously waiting to see if they release ap rates for my upcoming trip in October. Last December we paid $199 +tax a night for the Grand Floridian with an ap rate. The ap only cost me about $10 more than a 7 day los pass. Unfortunately I only bought one for me and now we are going back(unexpectedly) and I have to buy passes for DH and 2 DD's! So if you can buy the passes for your entire party if you think you can swing another trip within the year.
