Question about rates

okay here is my question.. we are passholders and I saw that if you came in on a Sun - Thurs on certain dates you could get a special rate. We wanted to go for memorial day weekend, so I booked it starting Thurs to get the special rate (61 instead of 75). Does anybody know if I cancel Thurs night but keep the rest of the reservation if my rate will change for all the other nights???

I booked like 14 days for the 4th of July. My original dates were June 29-July 12. I cancelled the 9th-12th and no, there was no cancellation fee. I've even heard of people having 2 different ressies at different rates. I may have been able to do that but it was hard enough getting those dates so I didn't mess with it.

While there is no cancellation fee, your rate is based on the day you actually check in, not the day you originally reserved. So yes, if your reservation rate was a special based on a Thursday check in and you cancel Thursday, the special rate goes away.

This would be similar to making a reservation for a preferred site checking in on 11/15/07 (the last day of value season), then canceling the 15th and checking in on 11/16/07 (the first day of pre-holiday season). You rate would go up to $58 (up from $55) because you were no longer eligible for the valuse season rate.

Thanks! That was the info I needed!! I know there wasn't a cancellation fee if you cancel 6 days before arrival, I just wasn't sure about the other! Guess we will have to go over on Thursday instead.... DARN!!!! LOL
