Question about private homes to rent

I am trying to plan a get together for my family and my sister's family for sometime in June or July of 2006. There will be 12 adults and 3 children ages 8, 5, and 1, and an infant who will be 6 months.
Last year we stayed at Pop Century in 8 rooms, but I thought it might be more fun to rent a pool home with a game room because my sons and my sister's sons are not interested in the parks but enjoy spending time together.
When we stayed at Pop we spent most of our nights sitting out on the walkway but because there were so many of us we didn't disturb anyone because we had the entire walkway of rooms. We have a few smokers but I specified non smoking rooms and everyone smoked outside. My family is very good about their smoking habits, they use ashtrays and don't drop butts around. I am not a smoker and hate that they are but I can only preach so much.
I have been looking into rental homes and everyone I see says the home is non smoking. Does anyone know if there are any homes that will allow smoking in a specified area, most likely outside in the yard or the driveway.
I will not allow smoking on the pool deck because I don't smoke and don't want to be subjected to any smell. I also don't want to rent a home that does allow smoking because I don't want any of us to stay in a home that smells of smoke.
I would be willing to put an extra deposit down to make sure the owner feels comfortable with the fact that there will be smokers in the home. I am sure nothing would be destroyed but I can't reassure an owner by making a promise.
Does anyone know of a home with at least 6 bedrooms (7 would be ideal) that would allow smoking outside the home? Peggie

Owners will allow smoking out side the home but very very few inside for the reasons you state -the smoke lingers and gets into furniture and drapes so it all has to be cleaned because the next guest may have asthma.You should be fine with the smokers in your party indulging their habit outside the confines of the home as long as the butts aren't dropped everywhere.

Most homes have smoking out side and no smoking in the home. I know I provide ashtrays out doors for our guests. I am also real strict when renting and tell all who rent the no smoking in the home is an absolute just for the reasons you have stated. I am sure you will find something to fit your group. There are so many to choose from.

We rented a home for our whole family in 2003. Of the 8 of us- 4 were smokers. There were 2 kids, my pg sister, and my very asthmatic self who didn't smoke. They all smoked outside and were very considerate to be sure not to leave cigarette's hanging around and such. I know they pretty much smoked near the cars. On the pool deck wasn't an option for us either. I know in our family none of the smokers even do it in their own homes or cars. So, they are all used to going outdoors to do their thing.

Take a look at www.yankeetourist.com. Again, a 7 bdrm, 5 bath house with a game room and a nursery with a crib in it. We shared this house this August with 2 other families (total 16 people - 6 adults, and 10 kids ranging from 18 (I guess he'd qualify as an adult, but he's mine, so he's a kid as far as I'm concerned!) to 5 years old) and had plenty of space - the kids enjoyed having their own pool and loved the game room and video game system. The house was clean, in good shape, well-stocked and the owners were very nice to deal with (they even bought a griddle for the house for us!). It's down off of 27 right past 192 in Hampton Lakes, but it took us only 15 - 20 minutes to Disney parks (that's with three cars following each other). Good luck - we found the house so much nicer than a bunch of hotel rooms. Each night we sat around the family room looking at digital pictures from that day on the TV and talking - hard to do that in a hotel room with 16 people!
