Question about preferred loops

Hi, I wanted to start and say that I have learned so much on this site. We are heading to the Fort for the first time next summer and I am so confused on the different levels of loops. I have looked for the answer to this question but I have not been able to figure it out for sure. Are Loops 100, 200, and 300 the only preferred loops. We want to be within walking distance of the Settlement Depot and the Marina. Thanks.

Yes, you are correct Loops 100,200,300 are the only Preferred, I believe there are 4 Full, 2 Partial and the rest Preminum..

If you want to be close to the Marina, then 100-500, and 700 will be your best options. As said above 100-300 are Preferred site, 400-500 and 700 are Premium. Full sites, which are a little cheaper (@$5/night) than the preferred are not convenient walking distance. Premiums are a little pricier than preferred (@$10/night) but offer a larger paved ares and upgraded picnic tables and grills.
