I've rented a scooter, from an outside company, many times when at Disney. This time we will be staying off site and I'm thinking of renting a scooter that we can put in the back of our rental van to bring to the parks. I've never done this before and am just concerned about the complexity this would, or hopefully would not, involve. I just spoke to Gold Mobility, a company I've used before and they say they don't have a folding/collapsible scooter but have one that can be "easily" disassembled and then assembled.
Can anyone please give me some information about renting one of these scooters?
Should I look for a scooter rental company that has scooters that fold instead of having to assemble and disassemble? Would that be better?
Any other information would be much appreciated.
Just as an aside, my weight is OK for one of these scooters so I don't have to worry about that, I'm just worried about everything else it might entail.
Hoping some Dissers might be able to put my mind at ease.
Oh, and my son in law would be doing this for me, so I don't have to worry about lifting it myself.
Thanks so much for any information you can give me.
