Question about POP

do they have the shampoo/conditioner dispensers on the wall of the shower like at ASMo?

Just returned from a trip to POP yesterday and they just have mickey shampoo bottles...no dispensers.

thanks michaelwilliammidd! what did you think about the bus service? i am a little disturbed by some of the current posts about it. when we were at WDW in may we stayed at POR and had awful bus service. BUT, we did see TONS of buses for POP all of the time- that is one reason we decided to stay there.

In my opinion the bus service is the absolute best! the only problem is that the stops are farthest away and at any resort, if you go to mk at 9 there may be a wait for a 2nd bus.

Glad to hear this! Like the OP, I read a couple reports today about poor bus service last week at Pop and it made me nervous! I was second guessing my choice of Pop. I started to wonder if we should be staying at one of the All Star resorts.

I'm sorry to say that we were not to thrilled with the bus service to POP over the last week. It seemed that there were way to few buses for POP as compared to the other resorts. We have stayed at all moderates in the past and had no issues with bus transportation....however that was one of the only issues we had with POP.

Just got back this morning. I have to say that if you compare the bus service with some of the deluxe resorts, you'll find that Pop's bus service is wonderful. I stayed at BCV in June, then at Pop in August, then BWV last week with a final night at Pop. Every time the buses at Pop have been superior to the deluxes. Only issue it that Pop usually has the most distant of the bus stops at the parks. But if the buses run frequently I can live with the further distance at the park end.

The bus service wasn't so bad that it would keep us from staying there again....if it came down to staying offsite or staying at POP, I would stay at POP no doubt. However if I could get a deal at a moderate I would stay there. It was a noticeable difference in the quality of bus service from a moderate to a value but, it still beats driving your own car or offsite shuttle transportation in my opinion.

We were at Pop in November and I was thrilled with the bus service. I was also very nervous after reading some of the posts - but we had no problems at all. It is true that you will have to walk a little further to get to the bus stops - but after walking a million miles in the parks all day - what's a few more feet

I've always thought the bus service at the POP was great! That's why we keep coming back there, instead of All Stars or even POR or FQ. I can see if it's busy it would be worse, but that would be the same just about at all resorts!

We were at POP over the Thanksgiving week, and yes there were times when we were returning to POP at closing time of a park.. such as MK, or Epcot, where we may have waited for a second bus. But, for the most part the bus service was great, and I had my personal car to use which we only did one day by choice to hit TL. The bus service was fine with us, and we would stay at POP again without a doubt.

You would think with it not being crowded the bus service would have been great...and it was certainly not crowded last week. However to put it in perspective of how many people were waiting on buses for POP....there were a couple of times leaving the MK end of day that we got on the 5th or 6th bus....waiting for a 2nd bus is one thing...but, that was just new for me to have to wait on that many buses.
