Are adults allowed on these? I mean, after I push all the kids out of the way :rotfl:

Well, my DH and I both went on the one at WL in full view of two life guards and nothing was said. So I guess so!

Definitley!!!! Well on the adults on the slide at least :rotfl2:

Some of them are a little tame so you might not care for them. Others on the other hand are actually quite nice and a bit much for smaller children.

Have fun!!!

:flower: The slide at Beach Club is awesome although a little narrow at the start... felt a little claustrophobic but it was Awesome!! :cool1:

The one at FQ is geared for smaller kids, it's very tame and ends up in a dragon head. AKL and BWI are fun, even for grown-ups.

You bet adults can ride! Push them kids outta the way and go for it!

Thanks! We're staying at CBR - is that one any good? (no kids with us)

Yes! I loved it. Didn't have to push any kids outta my way or nothing! Well, actually, I waited my turn, but it was fun!

The one at the Polynesian is awesome for adults. If you lie flat on your back you go really fast. My bf and I were the only adults going on it on our trip in May. When my bf would come out of the bottom of the slide- the kids in the pool would yell "tidal wave!!" :rotfl2:

Yes!!! My DH and I both ride the one at WL. Even my husbands grandmother rides it, I think she went more times than us!.

What are the rules about using pools other than the resort you are staying at?

Pool hopping is only allowed for DVC Members, and then only during non-blackout periods. Even DVC members can't pool hop to SAB (Beach/Yacht Club) and AKL. :flower:

Of course! I went down the one at BWI (forget what it is called - the one where you come out of the clown's mouth).

And since you're already pushing the kids outta the way, why not a lifeguard or two as well?

I see you'll be staying at POR. So you'll be able to use the pools at POR and POFQ, but not anywhere else on property.

I always go on the pool slides. I pay big money for those resorts, I want to get my money's worth!

I liked the one at OKW the best. The Poly's is really good too. The AKL was ok, but a little tame. POR's and CBR's were really tame. I hate slides at waterparks, but I can handle the pool slides.

We stayed at CSR and that slide would definelty be fun for adults. Unfortunatly it was too cold but I had picked CSR assuming that we would get to go the pool. (I'm just a grown-up kid)

Hi I was wondering how the waterslide is at OKW?

Do you have a picture?

What aobut the waterslide at SSR? Is it any good?

Thanks

I love the slide at BWI. It is called the Keister Coaster slide and it is designed to look like a very small version of an old fashioned wooden roller coaster. You end up coming out of the clown's mouth. It was a lot of fun, and there were plenty of other adults waiting in line with me!

The Keister Coaster at BWI was AWESOME! I was actually a little scared the first time, but then again, I am a big chicken!

Oh, and one more thing I would like to share for the ladies out there...I am one of those annoying moms that does not get her hair wet. It is not that I think I look bad with wet hair, I just hate putting chlorine in my hair, because I spend a lot of time and money getting it "just the right shade" of blond.

The Keister Coaster deposits you into the pool where it is about 4.5 feet deep (approximate.) So...i had my hair up in a clip and it never got wet!

The OKW slide is in a Giant sandcastle. You can't really see any of the slide except for where you exit. It pretty much just loops around and around as you increase in speed. It is pretty long though. There are pictures on www.wdwig.com though if you are interested.

Haven't been on the SSR slide yet but from our DVC tour it is in a rock formation. I believe it is more open then the OKW slide though.
