Question about Poly LV vs. LV Concierge Rates

I currently have a ressie at the Poly the 1st week of June for a LV room with an AP discount. Does anyone know approx how much more a night it would be to upgrade to concierge? I thought it would be quicker to ask my fellow DISers than to give my life story to CRO again

Thanks in advance for your help!

I currently have June 11th - 14th booked LVC at Poly. I could only get AP rates for the 12th and 13th--AAA for 11th. I tried to extend our stay but no availability from June9th-15th and I've been calling every day. I believe our rate with tax for AP nights is $447.10/$410 without tax. The AAA rate was $527 with tax LVC and GVC was $440 not including tax. I hope this helps! By the way, we have never stayed here and Melissa in IPO is AWESOME--she even got our 5yo on the booked Pirate Cruise! Cannot say enough good things about her and Sue in AKL concierge who got us Sunrise Safari. We never considered these resorts until this board and so far we are more than pleased. Good luck!

We are staying at the Poly GV Concierge - June 17-20 using the Fla. resident code for a price of $362.38 (tax included). I'm sure the AP rate is within the same price range.

It took me a full week of calling everyday and finally the BCF code was available for LV or GV. You just never know when people are going to cancel or Disney opens up rooms.

Hope this helps!

Also, the rates for standard lagoon view don't seem to be much less than the rates for garden view concierge. If you don't mind walking a bit for the lagoon view (or enjoy it from the concierge lounge), you might really enjoy concierge service too!

Thanks for the tip lindeyspol. I sold my DW on the view, but I would personally would like to try the concierge level. Not sure what we'll do now

Thanks for the input!

The difference is $85, plus tax per night to upgrade from regular lagoon view to concierge lagoon view. Since AP rates seem to have gone to a direct $$$ amount off rack rates, it's easy to figure out any upgrade cost. It's just the difference in rack rates.

I booked AP rates for July and got $40 off rack for LVC and $60 off for gardenview so unless the CM made a mistake ...or I am..it's not a straight $85 off rack for the Polynesian anyway. In fact for three nights AP LVC I saved only a total of $51 off my AAA rate.

I'll be curious to see what others are getting at the Polynesian.

That's suprising, since all the rates I was quotes at the GF for July AP rates (July 11 - July 15) were $85 off rack rates. I was quoted several different views, and all were $85 off. If you're truly paying less than $85 off rack rates for a July/August AP rate, I'd call back.

I may do that Lori or I may just wait and see the paperwork. Perhaps I transposed #s or something.

We were originally going to split GF and the Polynesian. The rate I was quoted at the GF was $85 off rack rate.

On the thread reporting AP rates, there are 3 different rates reported for Polynesian GV all with tax included. There is also a LVconcierge that is way different then mine!

I'd call now. I actually called back a couple of hours ago to make sure I had given all of my requests. And at first, there seemed to be a problem with my reservation. I had booked GF garden view, and the system was showing GF Lagoon view. The CM was just going to change it to GV, but it was sold out for my dates. After a call to Guest Services, she found out the change to my ressie was made "behind the scenes" and just wasn't showing up on her computer. So, to be safe, don't wait, since it could be over a week to receive the confirmation, and if there truly is a problem, there might not be availability to fix it.

Well, I was figuring that as long as I had AP rates I was set...they could just tweek the numbers if need be. But maybe she gave me some other code? So I'm sure you're right...better to call.
