Question about points and reservations

so if I book a reservation now for May...and I have to cancel....do the points go into holding or back in my account?

It depends on WHEN you cancel the ressie, not when you make the ressie. If you cancel a month or less prior to arrival, they will go into a holding account. If you cancel further out they will go back into your regular account and your normal banking limitation for your use year will apply.

oh... that makes things so much easier for me.
So as long as I cancel before 30 days then they go back into my regular account. awesome.

Make sure if you need to cancel you do it on the weekday that MS is open prior to the 30 day limit
