Question about pin trading bag...?

Ok, probably a dumb question, but we're new to the pin trading thing (well sort of). Just got my wife a pin trading bag and we're wondering how to use it? Specifically, there seems to be alternating pages of cloth and mesh. The cloth velcro together and the mesh have a zipper? Just what specifically are the mesh pages for or how are they used? I am assuming that the cloth pages are for the pins???

Open the velcro, push the pins in on the front so that the backs are going in between the velcro and put the back on.

The mesh pages are to protect your pins so that the pins on the pages that face each other don't rub and get damaged.

Myself and a other traders also use the mesh pockets to add in spare things. Eg: Maps, Card backs, spare pin backs, flyers, etc.
