Question about PIN offers

I'm newly registered here but have been lurking reading for quite awhile. I've noticed a lot of people talking about PIN codes and I am wondering if this is what I am getting in my emails. They come addressed to "the C****** family" and look similar to the usual ones offering discounts, but they always have a link to the website that prompts me to enter a code from the email and confirm our mailing address.

I got one before Christmas with an offer for 30-40% off stays at certain times, and another one since then, and the one I got this week is for free dining.

Are these the PINs everyone talks about? If it wasn't for the link and the code, I wouldn't know the difference since the offers are similar to what I always get in the mail - % discounts and free dining for certain dates. I know that being able to get a good discount on rooms or free dining is going to be a big part of our decision of when to go to Disney - I guess what I am wondering is IF these are PIN codes, will I regret not taking advantage of them now, because this deal isn't going to come along again anytime soon, if ever?

Or, am I just getting the same emails as everyone else and feeling special because now it makes me enter a code?

The offer I have right now would have all 6 of us for 10 days in August at Fort Wilderness cabins, with our park tickets and the QS dining for $4483.90.

I don't know how that compares to 'regular' deals and if it's something we should jump at and take while it's there. I'm in Manitoba, and I expect our flights will cost us around $2000+ so when we go, we want to make the most of it and save where we can.

Yes. That's the PIN offer everyone is talking about. My advice is to save the offer and then try again using the 40% off offer and figure out what you will pay for food while you're there and see which offer will save you the most money. I have 5 kids all over 9 and we're staying at a value (2 rooms) so for me free dining saves me the most. Other people have smaller families or younger children and they save more with the % off offers.

That is the weird thing about these linked/pinned offers - I can't save them, but I can go ahead and book them. I'm not ready to do that yet so I am just writing down the details in a notebook for now.

My earlier offer for the 35% off had us at $4519 with everything the same but the dates. I had tried with Aug.21 - 31.

I think when I priced it out for mid-March it was $5349 for 10 days at Fort wilderness with QS.

Without PINs, similar offers still come up periodically, right?

Hello
I currently got a free dining pin, i never priced out what it will cost to plan a trip for 5 people. I am hoping pretty cheap. We are from Winnipeg, so we drive the 7 hours to Minneapolis to save thousands of dollars on transportation. The cheapest flights I seen currently is $119 pp one way from Minneapolis to Orlando.

This was the first time, I received a PIN for 35-40% off, then I received another with the same offer but different PIN number, then received a PIN for 10% off. After booking for Aug 21-27 with 35% off, I received a PIN for Free Dining which can not use since I booked our air.

I kept the email from Disney Destinations with the PIN information on it in my In Box and printed it for reference. I would go through the steps to book a reservation, dates, # of people, resort, tickets, dining plan and get the price. Then I would go to the Disney website - Tickets & Reservations and check out the price for the dates, resort, tickets and dining plan you want. I found with the 35% discount, I saved over $200.

If you call Disney, the agent will help you get the best deal.

I wanted to see what I would have saved if I was able to use the free dining. It worked out more expensive as the Value Resorts is offering quick service dining and we have deluxe dining. We would be able to upgrade and pay the difference in price of the dining plans and it would have cost about $60 more with the free dining plan vs 35% off.

Check out having 2 rooms at a Value Resort (requesting connecting rooms) or family suites at the Value Resorts, this way, it would give you 2 bathrooms.

We stayed at the cabins one year with our family of 5 adults. The one bedroom had a double bed with bunk bed and the living had a pull down bed from the wall. We found we were waiting for the buses all the time. A bus near the cabin that took you to the main bus stop for a bus to go to the different parks. We only used the cabin to sleep in. We would have had to take the bus to get to the pool.

The free dining PIN offer is valid until April 30. Free dining is not offer yet to the public. If you book it is $200 deposit and the balance payable 45 before your check in. Deposit is refundable up to 45 days. If another discount or PIN or general discount comes out you can change your booking if there are rooms available at that resort.

As the other person said, sometimes you have to drive to another city to get a cheaper air price. We have stayed at a hotel with a park and fly package (you stay at the hotel for 1 night and they keep your car for free for a certain amount of nights, you might have to pay over that # of days) check out parksleepfly sites. This is cheaper than leaving your car at the airport parking. Air Canada they are add $10 fuel charge to flights.

how do you get these PINs? I want to book my trip for May but would love to get the Free Dinning. Also can you use 2 PINs at once? Like for a Room break and Free Dinning?
