Question about pin lanyards

Maybe a dumb question... are all of the official disney lanyards good for holding pins? The material seems different for this new one I got. I just want to make sure it is for pin trading. It's got the characters on one side and 2010 on the other. Can I put pins on this lanyard?

As far as I know you can put pins on any lanyard that Disney sells.
