A good tip I've read recently is to photocopy the back of your Park Hopper passes to make it a lot easier to replace them if they become lost. I just found out from my travel agent that our passes will be provided to us upon check-in at WL; I had thought we would get them before leaving for our trip. Where can I find access to a photocopier once on WDW property to make my photocopies? Do you think they would be able to do that at the desk for me or would that be too much of an inconvenience? We won't have a rental car, so I will need to find someplace that we can get to either by walking or using Disney transportation.

TIA

You could always go low-tech and write down the numbers from your passes onto a piece of paper. I think that would be enough-that and your receipt.

Are you getting the Ultimate Park Hopper/Length of Stay pass at check-in? In other words, do you have a package? If so, you don't need to photocopy those- if they get lost, you just go to the front desk and they'll reprint them.

If you have the paper hopper passes, you could just ask the CM at check-in if they could make a copy. Just say you are worried about losing them and a photocopy of the serial numbers would make the replacement process easier. -Steph

When I bought my PHP pass at a local Disney Store, I was given a special "receipt" that had the relavant pass numbers on them. The CM told me to keep that as safe as the pas itself and separate from the latter because if the pass was lost, the receipt had everything on it that I needed. She also recommended making a copy of the receipt to leave with someone at home as an emergency back-up.

I don't know how it works when you pick up the pass at the resort but you might ask for that kind of receipt as well - it's much easier to read than a copy of the pass.

I have the Ultimate Park Hopper which was included in a package (Dream Maker with Silver Add-on). I didn't know the front desk could just print out a new one...thanks for the advice everyone.

I had an UPH pass (or whatever it was called back then) on my trip in 2000. I had checked into my room with the key/pass. I was ready to leave the room; but could not find the pass. I tore the room apart (It had to be there). Could not find it. Called the front desk and they issued a new room/pass key. Every day I still looked around the room for the key. I assume they cancelled the missing key.

Just a little side not on making copies of important info while on vacation.
We make copies of licenses, credit cards, insurance cards etc.
You never know when something could get lost , stollen. Then it is very easy to call things in as well as having ID still available.
We keep one copy at home and one copy with us away from the originals. I know that sounds like a lot but I would rather be safe than sorry.::yes::

What about this?.....

We're staying at the Dolphin and buying UPH's. The pass will not be our room key. Are they paper passes like PHs or still plastic credit card like cards? Would we need to worry about copies?

Another option for copying once in WDW might be to take a picture of them, especially if you have a digital camera and can get close enough to read the numbers. I've read that some people take a picture of their kids every morning, too, just incase they get separated during the day.

Thanks
