Hi everyone .. I made my final payment on Friday, the 29th towards my room-only reservation for $125. I have been using my Disney Visa for all of my payments, but decided to use my debit card for this one since my billing cycle already ended with the Visa and I wouldn't be able to get more points before my trip.

Anyway, I have a Citibank debit card. On my bank account online, it reads "T&E AUTH - $62.50." This is half of the amount that it should have been ($125). I called my bank, they said the merchant only put through for that amount. I then called the reservation line to see if they would be able to answer any questions. Of course, they had no idea. They did say that my reservation was fully paid off though, and showed a payment of $125 was made on the 29th. Is this Authorization just a hold or something? TIA!

According to a quick search of "T&E AUTH" it sounds like it's an authorization/hold amount. It should be removed and the full amount charged soon. I would keep checking your statement for the next few days to make sure the payment goes through.

I would say this as well. My credit union doesn't even show pending holds/charges online (probably for this reason) because they can change once posted.
