Ok. I hope I can make this question understandable.

We're headed down in October 2011. We are a party of 6 (5 adults and one 4year old) and have chosen to do the dining plan.

We'll be staying in 3 different rooms. Each room has it's own reservation number. Therefore, our dining plans will be tracked separately on our individual KTTW cards. This way, I only need to worry about keeping track of all the meals for DH, DS and myself, and the other adults can keep track of themselves.

We will be eating together as a party of 6, and I understand that an 18% gratuity will be automatically added.

So my question is this. How do the servers bill for the table? Will they do one bill with the 18% added on and then use all of our KTTW cards on one check? Because that seems like it could easily be screwed up.

Or will there be 3 separate checks, each with 18% added on?

What I'm trying to do here is pre-plan the tips and buy gift cards in advance so that we carry as little cash as possible. If they always just lump it on 1 check, I'll carry 1 tip gift card. If there's one check for eash room, I'll get 3.

Make sense?? Hopefully?

Thanks,
Deb

Usually when you are seated they ask if you are on the dining plan, you will tell them you are and also be sure to tell them the arrangements of the "separate" packages.... It shouldn't be a problem at all for them to "charge" the meals to the cards...

Each "package" set will get a receipt to sign and my assumption is that you will also have the 18% tip listed, you can then decide as a group how to pay it (cash would be my choice)

You tell your server upfront that you will need 3 separate checks. Your 18% gratuity will be calculated on each check separately and each KTTW card will be charged per room...you give the server 3 cards at the end of the meal.
