Question About Paying Maintenance Fees w/Disney Visa Rewards

For anyone that has done this, did you still need to get the Reward Card and transfer the reward dollars to it? Or did you just leave the reward dollars in your account and have them deducted in some way?

The last time I spoke to Bankone they said I need to transfer points to the rewards card. I now have more points but my rewards card expires in Dec. SO they said I would be issued a new one and they would transfer my old and new points to the card.

Barron: Have you actually used your rewards to pay maintenance fees already?

By the way, are you anywhere near Hartselle/Decatur? I have many friends there that are previous co-workers.

I thought that if you want to pay your maintenance fees w/ Disney Visa, you have to pay it in one lump sum. We like paying our fee each month, so I've left it as an automatic withdrawal from our checking account. Please correct me if I am wrong, because I'm always looking for ways to increase our Disney Rewards!

I Have not paid my mant fee with the rewards card I guess I was replying to the area of which you can transfer points to the card, but I called ms and the cm told me she would find out. Bank one said the card worked like a debit card so I hope they can use it.
OH I live about 55 miles south of your friends.

I've read previous threads that it can be done. We have separate Visa accounts so I need to call and find out if we can pool the rewards onto one card or use two different ones. I'll post if I find out anything more specific.

I did this last year. You transfer the points to your rewards card. You give ms the number of the rewards card. They read how much is on the card and apply that to the mf. The balance I paid with the original disney visa card. It was no problem. They treat the rewards card as just another debit card. It was all taken care of on the same phone call.
