Question about paying dues

Hi,
I am considering purchasing a re-sale DVC, and was wondering....can you pay your dues monthly, with a re-sale? Or do you have to buy from Disney to pay your dues monthly?

Yes, once you are a member you can have your dues deducted from a US based financial institution on a monthy basis. You would need to contact Member Accounting to make the arrangements.

For a resale purchase, Disney does require that the current years dues be paid in full at the time of closing. Once you own the points, come January of next year when Disney send out the annual dues statement, you can either pay in full or start paying monthly.

However, since your considering a resale, you may be able to negotiate some of the terms with the seller, eg. the sellar will pay the current years due or closing costs or . . .? When we bought our resale the sellar paid the current years dues and we paid the closing costs.
