Question about paying at CRT...

I was fortunate enough to nab CRT for my upcoming trip in February. When the CM took my ADR, she had asked if I was on the DP. I said yes and then explained that I was planning on paying for this meal OOP. She took my credit card information. Then she noticed that it didn't charge my card and only used it as a confirmation. Instead the computer is expecting me to pay with my DP credits. She said that when I was seated, I could explain that I wanted to pay OOP and it wouldn't be a problem. Has anyone else experienced this? I don't want to use 2 credits for this place and just want to make sure that I am not forced to. I have been there before but couldn't remember if I paid when I sat down or paid after the meal.
