We will be staying at the Polynesian for our upcoming trip in two weeks (but who is counting, LOL). My husband's family lives in Florida and wants to spend a couple of days touring the parks with us - they may be staying onsite at Port Orleans. Will the Poly allow them to park at our resort so we can all go together?

Most likely not. I would ask at the guards gate perhaps they will cut your relatives a break but the rule is that you can only park for 3 hours if you have a PS . Many people were only day guests to the park and would park in that lot and it was difficult to find a place to park when you were staying at that resort. When we were there last year I was happy to see that they finally started to crack down on the parking problem. We could never find a place to park our car when we were staying there. If not maybe your parents could park at the TT&C and take the short walk too meet you at the monorail. They could call you room when they arrived in the lobby.

When you check into the Polynesian, ask them for an additional parking pass. Tell them the situation and that you will have 2 vehicles that will require passes. If you explain the situation to them, they will probably give you an additional one. Then when your inlaws come have them use the Polynesian pass when they are visiting you, and touring. All they can do is say no....

That's a good idea, Denise. We have always had problems parking when we stay at the monorail resorts. CR was the worst. We sat on our balcony watching the non-resort guests file in at park closing to leave. We pay a premium to stay on the monorail loop...it would be nice to be able to find a parking space.

We had friends visit us, and they just had to give our name..they were given a long term pass.
