On our previous trips we had AP's and got free parking at the parks. We will not have AP's for our next trip. Do DVC members pay full price parking at the parks??? I am guessing the answer is yes, but wanted to know for sure.

Free parking is not a DVC perk. Staying at any WDW resort gives you free parking as well as having an AP.

Want to make sure I understand. So as long as I am staying on property (which I am), parking at the parks is complimentary???

Yes, that is what will get you free parking at the parks.

Yes, if you are staying at a WDW resort you get free parking at the theme parks. I'm assuming with DVC they issue a parking pass for your resort when you check in, just like they do when you stay at a non-DVC on site resort. The parking attendants will see it and wave you through.

sometimes you get the parking pass at the security parking entrance.

but yea the parking is the same.

free parking is not a dvc perk - it is a WDW resort perk. DVC is part of WDW resorts.

I'm a little confused by the replies. Do you or do you not get a parking pass with your DVC ressie?

It is getting confusing! The short answer is yes, you get free theme park parking if you are staying on a DVC reservation.

If you are staying onsite at WDW (which includes DVC resorts) then you get free theme park parking. What people are clarifying is that just being a DVC member does not get you free parking. The fact that you are staying at an onsite resort is what qualifies for free parking.

Bottom line is if you are staying offsite, there is no DVC member parking perk. You could get free parking with an annual pass.

If you are heading to a park before checking in and getting the parking pass, you still don't have to pay for parking. Just tell them you are staying in a WDW property and have your confirmation letter handy if they ask.
