Question about park merchandise

So, Dh and I just got back for Dl last night. While we were there, a CM told us that any merchandise we saw in the stores we could get online. So, we both picked a few things we liked, that were too pricey for our vacation budget, to be added to our Christmas lists. Only problem? The two things I wanted aren't on the website at all.

I picked a holiday patchwork scarf and a tan purse. Is there any way to get these still without having to go back to DL? As much as i'd love to go back, it's not an option for us. Are these items a lost cause now? I wanted that scarf so badly, but talked myself out of buying it there specifically because that CM told me I could buy it from the website at home.

That is unfortunate. I know at WDW you can call merchandising and if you have a clear enough description of the product you can order it over the phone. I'm not sure if DLR has the same service. Maybe someone else would know if they do and perhaps the number as well?

FYI for anyone else interested, they can't ship any food items, but everything else should be fair game if they have it in stock!

Yes you can call them and have them send it to you. I did this a few years ago...funny now I don't even remember what it was that I got.
