Question about Park Hours

When a park closes at such and such time does that mean that you have to leave at that time or does it mean that the rides stop but you can still walk around for a little while? I've been told both and am wanting to find out for sure! Thanks everyone!

1- Depends.
But, generally, under most conditions, on most evenings, you will not be "escorted from the park" at "closing time."

2- You can nearly always linger awhile and sit, or shop at the larger gift shops found closer to the exits.

Thanks! We're going in May and HS closes at 7:00 so we were wondering if we would be able to hang out a little while.

I highly suggest doing that. Its nice to be in the parks at night with hardly anyone around. Try it at MK one night, its something else to see main street almost empty and makes for some great pictures!
