Hello All. Planning my birthday trip here... We're staying offsite

Lets say AK opens at 8. MK MGM and Epcot open at 9. AK closes at 5. MGM at 8 Epcot at 9 and MK at midnight.

If I would like to begin my day at AK at 8am. And end my day at MK at midnight... Just where do i park?

Can you get back to the AK parking lot that late?

Can i park at MK at 7am, and get on a bus to AK? Are the bus's running that early?

We usually stay on site, and dont have this problem... but i have 12 people going, and it would just be too costly to stay onsite.

I'm determined to get to AK for opening. And determined to not have to move my car to another parking lot. There has to be a way to do this. Anyone know?

What time does the MK parking lot open on a 9am opening day?

My suggestion would be to park at the TTC; bus over to AK in the AM, then ipso reverso to get to another park. Busses run from AK to EC, MGM, and TTC. At TTC you would boat or monrail to MK. When MK closes at midnight, you're a short monorail ride way from the TTC. To answer your original question, I don't believe there is bus service available to AK after closing ....at least until the park has cleared out. And I can gaurantee that would be long before midnight!
Good luck and have a great birthday! :cake:

Your best bet is to park at the TTC and catch the AK bus.

HOWEVER, if you decide to park at AK and then bus to the TTC to go to MK, there WILL be a bus to take you to AK when MK closes. It may not run as frequently as the resort busses, and I wouldn't want to be the last person leaving MK. But during the rush, a bus to Epcot (at midnight, the Epcot monorial will have already shut down), MGM and AK will be running.

Given the staggered park hours as you describe on the day in question, you are much better off driving between the parks. You have to do just as much monorail/ferry riding using the bus compared with driving because the inter-park buses to and from MK stop on the far side of the pond (at TTC). If you park at TTC (MK) I'm not sure how long you will have to wait for the AK bus or whether you will make rope drop at AK.

Someone on another board had suggested parking at the TTA and taking the bus to AK from the Polynesian (walking there). What do you think of that?

If i decided to just drive to the next park, would I have to pay to park again? Or would parking at AK give me parking privledges at another park.

As long as you have your parking receipt, you only pay once for parking each day. At the next park, show your receipt to the CM at the toll booth adn you get in without paying.
