Question about Park Hopper pass

Hey there. I have a quick question. I have a park hoppher pass without water parks included. Which is fine, cause I really haven't seen a lot of disney and want to absorb MGM,MK, AK, and Epcot. What I am wondering is, if we go to a park in the morning, and get tired and want to go back to the hotel to rest, and then we decide to go back to another park later... does that count against our 5 day pass? Like if i go in the morning and then leave and go back that same day does that count as 2 and i would only have 3 days left? Sorry if this is a dumb question

A park hopper allows to to "hop" between parks for the day. So it would only be 1 day off your ticket to go to multiple parks on one day

with a park hopper pass you can enter/leave/enter as many times as you want on any day and it only counts as one day. You can go to all 4 parks if you can fit it in and it counts as one day.

Since you have a 5 day hopper Plus water.

You get 5 calender days (10 or 14 days to use them if no expiry)plus I think it's 3 waterpark days.

So you can go into as many reg ( Mk,MGM,AK,EP )parks for those 5 days as you want .

If you go to MK then go rest and hit MGM at night that's 1 day off your 5 day.

Now the water park is where this is different .You enter TL,BB or DQ and you burn that day off .If you go to 2 in 1 day you burn 2 off.

You could do 8 full days on the pass you have if you wanted.
Day / parks
1 Parks MK /MGM
2 water TL
3 Parks EP /AK
4 water BB
5 Parks MGM /ep
6 Parks AK//MK
7 water TL or DQ
8 Parks MK /EP

That would give you 5 calender days of parks and 3 Pluses.
