Question about packing with ziplock bags

I am a terrible procrastinator. I want to get a jump start on packing for our trip this time. If I pack our clothes in ziplock bags after I iron them, how wrinkled will they be after a couple of weeks in the suitcase? I am just wondering if I should iron them after we get to Orlando. (not that I really want to be ironing on vacation)

I think they will be very wrinkled if they sit in ziplocks for several weeks. Nor would I want to iron on vacation. Can't you pack things that don't require ironing? You don't need to be very dressy at WDW.

I always use ziplock bags when we go on vacation. This past July we went to WDW for 10 days and the clothes looked fine, no ironing for me! However, I did pack just before we left so they didn't sit in the bag for weeks. I love packing in ziplock, I think it's a great system.

Probably not what you want to hear - but I just press over everything that needs it once we're there. I plan to do it even this time when it is just dh and I and we are just there for 5 days. DH is in the military, and he likes things pressed, and I don't mind doing it. We do try to keep it fairly casual. I also bring along a sample size can of starch, since the irons are nowhere near as good as mine! Takes me about 1/2 hour and then we just hang everything we need to up.

Have you ever tried Downy Wrinkle releaser? It is AWESOME!!!!! You just spray it on your clothes & tugg to pull the wrinkles out & voila! The only thing it wont do it give collars a "pressed look", but if you press at home then it will be fine just to get rid of the packing wrinkles.

I pack in ziplocs all the time. We live in CT, so I pack for our April vacation as I am putting our summer clothes away for the season. 3 sons & DH & I are already packed & ready to go. This will make trip preparation totally stress free!
