question about our room assignment

We booked through AAA, and our family of five has been assigned room #'s 7004 and 7006, since we wanted connecting staterooms. Is this room assignment pretty much set in stone? I read so much here about "gaurentee" (which I am almost sure I did not spell correctly) and was just wondering if those, indeed, are the rooms we will have. Just curious.

Thanks!

Brenda

If your TA gave you actual stateroom numbers and not just a category guarantee you should have those rooms.

Thanks, Deb. I was pretty happy with our assignments and then visited the State of Confusion after reading some of the posts here about rooms being switched, etc. Truth to tell, I think we'd be pretty happy anywhere as long as we were ON THE SHIP.

Sorry for the confusion about rooms being switched etc.
I did find out the reason my room was changed from room#
to having a cat 6 guarantee it was because I added an extra person to my ressie.
Mostly was the confusion about who knew what room does not fit 4 people.
I kept getting conflicting info between AAA and DC Line until I got them both on the line.
Now, if I get on board and ther is not a pull down bunk bed in my room.
I will be upset.
We did finally get it straightened out and switched cabins with my Inlaws
yeah
we will be in 6568 and 6572
the info I got was 6572 only holds 3 and 6568 holds 4
we shall see

52 days to go!!!!!!

Hehehe.....

I know there has been some confusion about # of people that can be accomodated in certain cabins....I hope all goes well for you. Off topic, have you had a good AAA experience so far? Ours has been smooth, and I was surprised at the difference between the DCL quote and the AAA quote for the same cruise, same accomodations.

58 days to go for you.....I'm jealous.

Brenda

52 days!!!!

Yes, I like AAA
I feel like I am a pain in the butt sometimes to them because I am on these boards and sometimes I know about deals before they do.
I now have a friend there.
I did a lot of comparison shopping before I booked my cruise almost 2 years ago
we got quotes from DU DCl and another travel agent.
AAA was about the same as DU
the only reason why I chose AAA was because of the travel mugs and the insurance
and the person is usually available to talk to when I have a question

this is our second cruise the first was on the wonder in 2001
4 day
we are so excited for the western itinerary!
