Question about our 1st trip home.

We just got back from our first trip "home" to AKV. We had an awesome time. I do have a question though. We bought DVC sight unseen, we loved Disney so we thought nothing of buying a DVC. We never went to a tour. I was a little disappointed that we didn't "get" anything. I thought that maybe our guide would call and say welcome home or maybe a pin on our bed. Something!!! I always see people wearing hats, pins or having other goodies and I felf a little left out. Did anyone else get anything? Or am I just being silly?

Welcome home!

The hats and pins and DVC logo gifts are usually the "reward" for going to DVC member gatherings...they are on Wednesdays around the Boardwalk area, and multiple times on each Disney Cruise. We have never got any gifts for staying on points...we did get the nice tote bag upon joining. So please don't feel left out!

Same here we received the DVC bag and our Dream Book, which i'm sure will come in the mail to you in 3-4 weeks. If not just call your guide, thats why they are here, to help you out.

We did get a tote and book.

We arrived on Wed. and have ressie at Boma and didn't make it to the member gathering on BWV.

I don't mean to sound ungrateful, but I thought a call or a little something would have been nice (I wouldn't expect something each time, but maybe for the first time). I did manage to pin trade a DVC AKV - which I'm sure they were giving out for free at the gatherings or for looking into DVC.
