Question about Orlando Stroller Rentals

I am planning to rent a double stroller from Orlando Stroller rental, but I wanted to get some feedback....

My oldest DD is 4 and is 41 inches tall. Does anyone know if she will be too tall for the double stroller that they rent? No stores near me carry that brand/model so I cannot try one out.

You shouldn't have any problem at all. We rented that same stroller from Shannon in Sept. and my kids were 46 and 44 inches tall. They were very comfortable and it handled like a dream! I'm sure you will be very happy with them.

I have a 3 year old as well about the same height and he had no trouble. He is actually a little a taller.

We own the BJCM in a double and DS is 41" and fits in it fine.

I'll be honest with you. It's not great for the bus. It's not real heavy for a dble, and it does fold VERY easily, but unfortunately it does not have a clip/lock to keep it closed. It actually does have a strap, but I still haven't figured out how to use it.

DH says it was worth the hassle of the busses to have it once we were inside the parks. Super easy to push and steer, awesome shades, ample storage and full recline seats.

Thanks for the responses! I think we will stick with the plan for renting.

I am not too worried about keeping the stroller folded on the bus. My husband is a big strong guy and that will be his responsibility! Plus, the stroller that we are renting cannot be any worse than the sit and stand that we own.

We did not have any trouble on the buses with the stroller. We are using them again next month. I am ready to go!

One last little "you should be fine". We went in December 2008. My daughter was 5 1/2 and 45 inches. She fit in fine. She didn't have loads of room above her head with the canopy open, but she never complained. She even fell asleep in it twice!

We're going again in August and I'm renting this same stroller again. She's now nearly 47 inches and I still think we'll do okay.

Maybe I'm delusional, but the Disney double strollers seems smaller to me now than in previous years. We rented them two and a half years ago and they were wider - I'm sure of it. There's no way my two girls would fit in them now. The double from Orlando Stroller Rental is really the best option for us.
