I was looking at photos of OKW studio at wdwig.com (and they look beautiful) I was wondering...I see a picture facing the kitchenette/bathroom area and it looks like the first doorway leading into the kitchenette area might have one of the sliding doors (not the actual door to the bathroom) am I seeing something that is not actually there? I was thinking if there was a sliding door there that I could maybe slide my son's crib in there during the day and leave that door slightly ajar so he can nap somewhat undisturbed. That was one problem with our last trip at the WLV studio, if he napped, basically everyone had to nap or be veerrryy quite with tv down way low. I'm not suggesting shutting him up in a closet, but thought that the room seems very large compared the WLV and that we might be able to find him his own corner of the room. (At the WLV studio, son and I slept in one bed and DH on the pull out couch). Not the best arrangement but I didn't know at the time that they could actually bring up a crib to your room (not just a pack-and-play) which I knew he wouldn't go for.
Thanks for any help!

I only stayed in a studio once but there is no door sliding or other wise to the kitchenette area. The only door is the door to the bathroom. You might be seeing the door to the porch. That would be my guess the porch has a sliding glass door. That must be it.

There are not slidind doors in the OKW studios.

If standing and facing the bathroom door, to the left would be the kitchenette and the right would be the closet with bifold doors.

(Note some rooms are just the opposite)

I don't believe there is a sliding glass door to the porch area either, sorry:confused:

This I can help with!:D
I just returned from a week at OKW staying in a studio. This is the second time I've done so, so here goes.
first I will tell you the rooms can reverse. Meaning they can have beds on the right or left as you walk in. Either way as you come in the door we had two queen beds both times(good suitcase storage under the beds). As you continue past the beds and a TV Cabinet (20" TV on top with 4 drawers underneath) you will turn right or left into a Kichenette area. The closet will be opposite the Kitchenette. The closet does have a folding door with slides. Finally you enter an ample bathroom. I wish the sink was as big as the bathroom.
My family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed the stay. We are looking forward to returning. If you have more questions let me know.
I'm full of Disney radiance!

As others have said you were looking at the closet doors, the closet is directly across from the kitchenette. There is not enough room to put a crib or even a pack and play in the closet but you could move the table and chairs down and put the crib against the wall right before the kitchenette. I hope you are not expecting a large size difference in the OKW studio vs your stay at a WLV studio. The OKW studio is only a few feet larger and with the 2 beds vs 1 bed and sofa the size difference is not noticeable and the room actually feels smaller. The biggest size difference is in the bathroom. OKW has much larger bathrooms because the sinks are in with the tub and toilet.

Okay thanks everyone. DeeP I guess the room looked bigger in the picture because the beds were at an angle to the tv and wall. We will be fine, this is a a trip to use up the rest of our points for this year or I would have gotten a one bedroom. Our next trip we will definitely get a one bedroom (probably either at the BWV or OKW). Thanks again!
P.S. emacman, glad you had a great trip! :)

We found that the studios at OKW felt bigger - to us it was because of the angles - felt like more space as opposed to a box

Thanks
