I need some opinions about dinner at Ohana's. We are traveling with a large group in October 06 and some people would like make reservations for Ohana. How is the food? Is there a large selection?

My family went there on x-mas week. There were 9 of us and we are all picky eaters, but everyone lo0ved the meal from child to adult. Give it a try!! Katiemugs2 :cheer2: :cheer2:

We took a large group there in December 2005 and we thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience!

The food was tasty and plentiful. It is served family style. You do not order off a menu. There is a great variet

We loved it all except the Sausage. It was rather bland.

The wontons skins in the peanut sauce grows on you. They are not the fried filled wontons we were expecting but just the outside part. They look a bit like tortilla chips.

The potatoes were a favorite as was the dessert!

We plan on returning there for a dinner in May. :thumbsup2

Ate there for the first time this past November. And all I have to say is OMG. Have read many different reviews on here about it. We decided to try and can't wait to go back. The nice thing is that they will bring you more of what ever you want. And there is so much to choose from that I'm sure everyone will find something to eat. My favorite was actually the salad!!! Could have made a meal just out of that. I didn't care for the sausage, but DH did. Hope you like it if you decide to go!!! :wizard:

We ate here in October for the first time, and I loved it. I thought the food was great, the service was wonderful, and we were able to watch Wishes through the windows - neat.
This was my favorite meal of the trip, and we also ate at Le Cellier and the Yachtsmans Steakhouse.
Go and have a great time.

We had a great time at O'hana and would go back again. Very unique experience.

We went for the first time last October and we loved it. The food was great and the service was excellent. We couldn't wait to go back. Well, we went back in January and were very disappointed. The service was horrible, absolutely the worse, the guy kept disappearing. Couldn't get potatoes even though we asked three times. They kept bringing meats when we said we didn't want any but put it on our plate anyway. We were also surprised with the meats because they were very dry. Once our server realized that we were not happy with the service we were getting, he started to pay attention to us. He only had two other tables but there were 6-7 people each so I guess he was working where the larger tips were. He even brought the old pineapple dessert to the other table as a surprise because they were disappointed it was gone from the menu. We couldn't even get the regular desert delivered and we were there long before the other table. It was pretty bad and DH says that was the last time for 'Ohana. I hope he changes his mind because I still want to try it again.
