Question about night time in July

We're off to DLRP on 7th July for 3 nights.
We've been a few times before but mostly in June and the parks have closed around 8pm which has been fine. I remember going about 10 - 12 years ago in July and I'm sure I saw a night time parade with the floats all lit up and then walking to the bus at about 10pm. Am I remembering this correctly? Does this still happen? My 16 year old says she remembers it and she was little then!
It would be nice if it did, but 8pm closing isn't so bad either, so I'm happy whatever!

i think you are talking about fantillusion. look it up on you tube it might jog some memories. if its that then yes it does happen but im not sure when it starts in the summer

My understanding is fireworks start 4th July (which means Fantillusion as well). So you are probably looking at 11pm close!

Back then it was Main Street Electrical Parade and Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks. So you will have a new light parade and a new pyro show to look forward to.

11pm finish after 8am EMH, has anyone gone the whole stretch in the park before? I very much doubt I'll manage it, but we're staying in the Santa Fe so a rest in the afternoon will be nice!
