Question about next summer..........

I know it's early, but I have got to start planning UO/IOA for next year so I can have something to look forward to! I talked with my TA at AAA and she said that there isn't a AAA discount available---as per Universal Studios for the stay of June 28 to July 2. Is that because it's so far away? Ya think Universal resorts will offer the AAA closer to the date? Do they not release AAA discounts till much closer? 1st time w/ UOResorts so, dunno......HELP!! (TIA )

When I booked my room for June 30-July2, I was told to check back periodically to see when the 2006 AAA discounts become available. I am also hoping someone will post here when they get one.

I booked very early for this August (last September), and originally booked at rack rates. The AAA rates came out later, and last week I got a PCT code that gave 15% off if you stayed 4 nights. Hold on and just be patient.

Thanks....I can be patient! ....altho, I have no idea what a PCT code is ...I will probably just book rack rate to reserve room. I think DH said something about his brother's FIL being able to get us a discount thru his work or something... ...dunno...but, will book room anyway and try to get discounts applied later...... Thanks again everyone! Slowly, but surely, learning UO/IOA stuff!!

The PCT code was just the code they used for booking the 15% off special. May be offered again, but who knows.

I think what your FIL is talking about is a FAN club card. I have one through work too, and it got us nothing this year. I haven't heard of anyone getting a FAN club discount this year.

No, it's not a FAN club discount. Somehow his company has ties with Loew's and my BIL often gets discounts at the hotels at USO thru his FIL....so, I don't know anything else, so I'll have to wait and see!
