We are a family of 5. We will be in WDW for the last 2 weeks of July. We have 9 day base tickets bought from UT. Would we be able to upgrade these tickets to the discounted APs and what would be the price? Thank you.

Yes, you should be able to upgrade them to the discounted APs if you purchased your contract directly from DVD or if you purchased resale prior to April 4, 2016.

The value of those 9-day tickets toward the upgrade would depend on whether they were minted before or after the price increase on Feb. 12, 2017.

If they have an expiration date (of Dec 2018) they are post 2/12/17 tickets, if there is no expiration date they are old (pre 2/12/17 tickets). There is a ticket sticky on the main disney world theme park page where you can find pricing info.

Here's another different question. My daughter bought a renewal voucher that she hadn't activated yet. I'm wondering if she calls, they might let her use the value of this voucher towards this new ticket and pay the difference. The renewal will get her to April 2018 because of the 13 months, but a brand new AP would get her to July 2018 and possibly another trip. Wwyd
