Question about my plan

So we will be going on our first family trip the first week of February. It is both my husband and my first trip in almost 20 years and our 3 children are 5,3 and 1. So originally I planned a day at each park and then a half day a MK on the last day for parades, fireworks, A&E and maybe re ride a couple favorite attractions.

Now I am realizing that AK may be a total waste of a day for us. My girls aren't huge into animals (devastating to this biologist) and the rides are either too big or scary for them. So now I'm thinking 1 day Epcot, 1 day HS and 2.5 MK. Is this too many days at MK? I'm thinking it may give us a more relaxed visit.

Also, now that I am changing how many days we are at MK I want to switch up the days a bit, but due to ADR's I can only switch HS to a day that easywdw has it as not recommended. Crowd levels are at a 3 so I'm thinking that even though it isn't recommended and we will basically only be going to shows that it won't be too bad. Does anybody know why it wouldn't be a recommended day?

Ok if you got through all that, thank you for reading and I appreciate any advice/comments!!

I don't think 2.5 days at MK are too many, especially for children those ages. My kids are 9, 7, and 5. I've been taking them since they were babies and they definitely love MK the most and want to spend the most time there.

I'm not sure about your DHS day - what day of the week are you planning? Does it have EMH? If you're just doing shows I don't think you'll have any problems regardless of whether it is recommended or not, honestly.

Have a great trip - traveling to WDW with small children is challenging but still so much fun!! :)
