We are going to be taking our laptop with us to Florida. I saw in Tyler's post that there is a hook-up by the table. Can someone please tell me what the charges will be to hook-up to the net?
Each call will cost 75 cents. It is unlimited time. Be sure to find the local access number for your internet provider. I also called the desk to confirm it was a local number.
Not sure when CBR gets high speed, but it is $9.95 for each 24 hour period. (This is NOT the same as most hotels where it expires at check out. So if I hooked up at 6 pm I was good until 6 pm the next night. At most hotels if I hook up at 6 pm I am only paid until check out the next day)
Yes, be very careful and confirm that you have a "local" number. Once while staying at the BC I used what I thought was a local number only to have a $56 charge for a long distance phone call. The CM at the front desk said that even though a number might be from a town only a few miles away it might be considered long distance. She said the best way to be sure the number is local is to check with the front desk. Fortunately the CM was able to remove that charge from my bill.................and I've never made that mistake again. On our last trip I used an 800 access number and there was a $.75 charge each time I connected.
