Question about my Cali Grill ADR

Hi, everyone! I just made my Cali Grill ADR for Oct. 20. Wishes is at 8:00pm that night, and my choices were 6:00 or 7:20. I took the 6:00pm, thinking that we might not get seated right away, and we could take our time with dinner ... and still be seated for the fireworks. Did I make the right choice? Or are they going to be rushing us along the whole time??

They wont rush you and you could always stay after your dinner and have a drink while you are waiting... They don't kick you out so I think you will be ok. Have fun it is an amazing time!!!

went with the 7:20, but as the PP said, you will not be rushed. Enjoy a wonderful dining experience; Cali grill during Wishes is my favorite dining experience in all of the world.

They won't rush you. Just enjoy a nice, leisurely dinner. It's better to have that earlier ADR, because chances are you won't be seated right away. I hope you have a great time that night, the 20th is our wedding anniversary --I'm jealous that you get to dine at the CG that night!! ENJOY!!

It always takes us at least two hours to dine here.

My husband and I ate at CG last week. We had a 9:20 ADR, and didn't get seated until just before Wishes (which was at 10:00). So, your 6:00 ADR will be fine. It was a fantastic meal!

I heard on the podcast that if you keep your receiept,you can go up to the observation deck, regardless of when you dine. so you should be fine

I'm so excited you asked this question, I have ADRs there at 7:00 on Sept 28with Hallowishes at 8:00, didn't know if I would have to hang out after dinner. Thanks for the info everyone.

Out of all the TS ADRs, we've waited the longest time between appointed ADR time and seating at CG.

Not a complaint, just an FYI. It was a good 30-40mins after ADR arrival time to be seated.

Agree with the PP. This can be a 2h meal with our general experience for requested non-leisurely pacing to be about 90 mins. You wouldn't even want to do it in an hour - too rushed if doing all courses.

This should be a great meal for you; enjoy!
