Question about my 2014 Points

Hi.
I have some points left in my September 2014 U/Y, SSR. I have booked
my ressie for September 2014 at VGF so will not be using any more and could use the cash to put towards our upcoming NCL Cruise.

If I wanted to rent them or transfer them, could I do this and what would be the stipulation so anyone who wanted is knows exactly what they are getting.

I have other t/s that are decidated weeks and always very confused with my points

Are they banked points from your 2013 UY, if not why not bank them into your 2015 UY?
Yes, you can rent or transfer them, for stipulations that depends on what UY they are from. If they are 2014 UY points, then if you transfer them they are then the new member's points; they can use them by 8/31/2014 or bank them before 4/30/2014. If you rent them, then you will be making a reservation for someone else before 8/31/2014.

I thought the 25 September 2014 points could be used by August 31, 2015 so see this is where I am confused.
If I transfer to someone, can't they make a ressie by borrowing them if the reservation is after August 31, 2014?

If you were to transfer those 25 points, they would become their points to do with as the want. They become active on Sept 1, 2014 so they can use them for a registration booked anytime after August 31, 2014, or they could bank them into their 2015 use year. If they wanted to borrow them into their 2013 use year, they could use them for a reservation booked anytime after August 31, 2013.

Transferred points can be banked (after the transfer, not before), but they CANNOT be borrowed. So if you transfer them to someone else, they could book a stay that occurs between 9/1/14 and 9/1/15, or they could bank them and use them between 9/1/15 and 9/1/16. Or you could bank them and use them yourself in that second window.
