No don't worry about it. They arent' that GRRRR about it. I guess if he LOOKS big and older they would but if he looks little they won't

What do you mean by buying his ticket? Won't he have his tickets already? Don't worry about this.

I would plan on having to buy his ticket... But if you get to the gate and they let you in... BONUS!!!:thumbsup2

Oh good gravy, DUH at myself. :rotfl:

Are you going on a package trip? If so, I think they ask for age at the start of travel, so it seems they don't mind if your trip starts when the kiddo is under a certain ticket designation.

You could just consider him 2 for the whole trip (that doesn't not stop you from getting him a birthday button, however), or you could mark the birthday date as a huge occasion (as it is), by proudly and happily buying him his very first Disneyland ticket!

We were lucky in that we had two one-day trips to Disneyland before DS turned 3 (making it all the more ridiculous that I messed up like that), so when it came time to pay for him all we felt was HAPPY. So happy we upgraded his hopper (and ours) to an Annual Passport! :goodvibes

I think you would be fine since he is still 2 at the start of the trip. But I'd honestly pass on the button, I wouldn't want to advertise it at the gates that he's now 3. LOL

Your trip is the 10th - 13th. He is 2. On the last day, you go into City Hall and ask for a birthday button for a member of your group and tell them your son's name. Don't mention who it's for or the age, just his name.

Let him wear the button all day long. CMs will ask how old he is. He will say, "This many" (holding up fingers) and he will be the cutest kid in the park. No one is going to ask for his ticket at that point in your trip.

Enjoy!

I've always heard that the policy is that the child is considered the age he/she is at check in regardless of when his/her birthday occurs. My oldest had his 10th birthday durring the middle of a trip and was not required to upgrade to an adult ticket. You will be fine without a ticket for him. :goodvibes

You can get the birthday pin the first day of your trip and wear it everyday if he wants it is just so people know he is having a birthday or it is his birthday.

The age thing dont worry I took my 3 yr old in may and they never asked for a ticket her birthday was in march.

Im going in oct this yr and I will buy her a ticket this time though.

Now if you kid was 5 and you tried to pass him as 2 well I think they would ask for a ticket.

I've been told this many times by the CMs. Don't worry about buying a ticket. Enjoy your trip!
