Question about MM

If I'm getting this right, jnjusoioa is taking two trips:
-One in March, staying at the Carousel Inn and buying tickets there
-One in December with a package from Costco.

EDIT: bumbershoot, you beat me to it

However, the Carousel gave you misinformation. You do NOT need to use MM and MTTMM on the same day. You can ONLY get MTTMM through a package, not just buying tickets. MM you can get with a 3+ day ticket.

Here's the MM "super thread" that has the answer to many questions.

Looks like jnjusoioa is going twice. March at the Carousel, and December with a package. :)

I'm staying at the Carousel next weekend (would have gone with HoJo but I got nervous and decided to stay as close across the street as I could AND I got a good price), so I was doodling around on their website. Their disneyland info portal here is worded so sneakily! They don't mention MTTMM, but they word it like the EE (aka MM) with the 3+ day hoppers is something only THEY provide. Sneaky.

Thank you, yes that is correct, going in March, no package, staying at Carousel. Going in Dec. with a package through Costco. I am very confused because the lady at Carousel was really nice and even put me on hold and went and checked and said you got MTTMM with it, I don't know what to do now. I guess I will try the Carousel back and then take it from there. Yikes. Molly, I will be curious to know what you think of the Carousel next weekend.:)

Peter Pan is connected to Mr Toad.
Hit Dumbo as soon as you get off of Peter Pan because it takes a long time to load and the lines can get long. You will definately have time to do the 4 rides you want to ride and even some of the others like Mr Toad. Snow White and Pinnochio
For TTMM, they have a show that starts about 9:15 that makes you an honorary citizen. Ride Roger Rabbit as soon as you get in and get a Fast Pass when you get off. After the show go meet Mickey and then ride the roller coaster. Those are areas that will fill up as soon as it opens to everyone else.

The recommended FL tour is:

- PP (always first :))
- Dumbo
- Alice
- Matterhorn (you can possibly ride both sides if FL is empty).
- Teacups/Mr. Toad (either order)
- Carousel/Pinocchio/Snow White (any order).

If you don't get to the final 3 rides, they can be easily ridden later. You should have no trouble riding the first 6-7 rides during MM/EE....assuming you're one of the first 10-20 families on PP. & try to avoid bathroom or picture breaks until after the first 3 rides (or at all).

fwiw - Since only "one day at DL" , If multiple adults, i would send a runner to SM or Indy at Gen. Adm opening (while the rest walk to ToonTown) to pick up FPs. You really should try to have 2-3 FPs in your pocket by noon.

Have fun. :thumbsup2

Just a quick question, this list is great and I think I will follow it, would you then do Casey Jr. Circus Train and Storybook Land Canals after those rides? Just curious because those are two I for sure what to do. Thank You.:)

Neither Casey Jr. or Storybook are open for MM. Casey Jr. should open at official park opening, and Storybook generally opens 1 hour after park opening.

I prefer to ride Storybook at night. I think it's more magical with the twinkling lights.

The lines also go very slowly on Storybook. That's why we do it in evening after we've done everything else

Thank you for letting me know, I will keep that in mind, and I think I will head to Casey Jr once it opens then. Thanks again.:)

What you do at the end of MM/EE i think depends on the ages & preferences of the group. I haven't "done" Casey but if it's a "must do" it might be a good thing to do at Gen. Adm. opening. But...we usually:

- Do the left side (Indy/Pirates/HM/Splash etc.)
- Do TL (SM/Buzz)

But no matter what....we pick up FPs (at ..:01 to begin our FP collection) at Indy, SM, Buzz or BTMRR.
